A summer of Exploration, Imagination, and Outdoor Fun

The London Day School’s Summer Program is an essential part of our 12-month curriculum. Our summer months offer a refreshing shift in pace, less academic structure and more hands-on exploration, creativity, and outdoor play.

Summer is a great time to experience The London Day School’s difference, with a limited number of openings for children who are not yet enrolled or enrolled in other preschools that do not offer a Summer program. 

We welcome children up to 6 years of age to join us for a summer filled with friendship, movement, and memorable experiences. To learn more about availability and our summer experience, please contact us.

A Summer Designed for Childhood

Summer at The London Day School is intentionally crafted to feel different from the school year. While our core values of kindness, curiosity, and engagement remain, the rhythm becomes more relaxed and delightfully fun.

Children enjoy:

Even in summer, children learn best through meaningful experiences. Our program blends:

  • Outdoor learning that strengthens gross motor skills and confidence

Every activity is designed to be developmentally appropriate, engaging, and fun.

Weekly Themes That Bring Summer to Life

Each week features a new theme that inspires creativity and exploration. Themes may include:

  • Under the Sea
  • Little Scientists
  • Outdoor Explorers
  • Art in the Sunshine
  • Music Makers
  • Garden to Table

These themes guide our projects, stories, outdoor adventures, and hands-on activities, giving children something new to look forward to each week.

Summer at The London Day School means plenty of time outside. Children enjoy:
